My Favorite Maternity Photos using Fabric: Maternity Photos with Fabric

Maternity photos with fabric are simple yet powerful.  The photos highlight the beautiful, pregnant body.  The simplicity of fabrics is what makes it so pretty! My client closet includes many fabrics that can be used for your session- solid and sheer options and a delicate and intricate, lace fabric.  There are also other colors not pictured including: royal blue, soft caramel, and gold. If you haven’t had a chance, please visit the client closet to see all the options you have for your maternity session: Client Closet

Fabrics can be draped, tossed, or held over the body. If you choose to have the fabric tossed, we’ll have your partner help.  It usually takes a few tries but partner’s really enjoy helping out and we usually get lots of laughs and a few bloopers!

The images below are just examples of how fabric can be used.  There are lots of ways we can use fabric for your session so let me know if there are any poses you love and we can make that vision come to life.

For fabric photos, I recommend bringing along a strapless, nude bra and a nude g-string.  These undergarments can really help shape the fabric and give us the best results for the final images!

PS: some of the sheer fabrics can be edited to be more opaque.

If there is any color or style fabric you would like to see in the client closet, please feel free to mention it!  I am always looking on ways to expand the closet so I am open to suggestions!
