Classic Black Dress Maternity Photos: Maternity Photos with Black Dress

I have to admit, when I started my client closet, I didn’t think to add black dresses. One, because Florida is so hot that black would absorb the heat.  Two, because I thought clients wanted pink or blue to correlate with their baby’s gender. Boy, I am glad I snapped out of that mindset.  Maternity photos with a black dress are SO classic and so timeless! I love creating studio photos with these black gowns and I LOVE how these images look in black and white!

Maternity photos with a black dress are so versatile.  The dress can easily highlight the bump.  We can create silhouette photos with both moody and bright lighting. We can add your partner in for timeless photos that will be hung on your walls!

PS: I always provide both the color and black and white versions of these photos!

Currently I have 3 styles of little black dresses for you to choose from.  I have an off the shoulder gown with a high, thigh slit and a high neck option.  I also have a turtle neck option in plus size (not pictured).

So, if you were apprehensive about wearing a black dress for your maternity photos, don’t think twice!  I promise, these images will be some of your favorite!
