Orlando Family Photographer: Best Parks for Photos in Orlando

I get asked SO many times about the best parks in Orlando to have photos taken.  There are some great parks for portraits, family photos, maternity photos,  and engagement photos in Orlando.  I have listed some of my favorites below:

Kissimmee Lakefront Park

In my opinion, one of the BEST parks for photos in Orlando!  There are so many different looks you can get from this park.  With a huge lake, a lighthouse, large oak trees, red brick walls, large open grass areas, and (depending on the season) beautiful pink bushes, this park has more than you can ask for!

Rollins College

Located in Winter Park, Rollin’s is another location with multiple looks: large lake, small beach area, cool doors/walkways, a rose garden, and beautiful, pink bushes.  Rollins College isn’t technically a park but their grounds offer a great park – like feel and is one of the best places to take photos in Orlando.

Baldwin Park

One of the best parks for photos in Orlando is Baldwin Park.  It’s located near downtown Orlando.  Baldwin Park is a cute neighborhood with a large lake, a small pier, and cute walkways.

Lake Runneymede

One of my favorite and best places for photos in or near Orlando is Lake Runneymede. This location has a ton of spanish moss with lots of cypress trees.  This area is primitive does not have restrooms.  There are also a lot of mosquitos.

Kraft Azalea

Located in Winter Park, Kraft Azalea is a small park that packs a beautifully big punch.  There are huge, beautiful trees that glow when the sun shines.  This location requires a permit.  It also is only pretty when its sunny out.  Cloudy days lead to dark photos if flash isn’t used.

Lake Louisa

Another great location for photos in Orlando is Lake Louisa State Park.  About 45 minutes from Orlando, Lake Louisa is located in Clermont, FL.  A huge state park with lots of tall grass, trees, and even a large beach area near a large lake, this park photographs beautifully!
