Baldwin Park Family Session

Mackenzie’s small, brown bear has been with her since birth and stayed with her through her 50 days in the NICU.  Fifty days of growing and strengthening.   It’s hard to believe now, but Mackenzie was the SAME size as the bear when she entered this world!  Mom says that while she was in the NICU, they would look at a wall that had photos of kids who had survived NICU.  There would be a photo of them at birth and a photo of them at the age of 1.  It served as a reminder to parents that their kids would survive and would thrive despite their early entrance.  Haley plans on sending photos to the hospital to be displayed on that wall.

Haley, Charlie, and Mackenzie, thank you so much for allowing me to capture this season of your life!  It was a hot and humid morning but thank you so much for pushing through and smiling for the camera!   Florida summers will make you miss that California weather but I hope you’ll grow to love it!  And….. happy belated birthday, Mackenzie!!  It was a hectic one with the move across country, but I’m sure mommy and daddy will make up for it on birthday #2!!
