This session all started with a text that read “What time do you get off work?”  Two hours later, we are driving through traffic trying to beat the sunset to capture Liam’s Wild One themed, first birthday, cake smash. I love being an Orlando photographer capturing cake smashes for babies!

What a “Wild One” it has been for Liam.  He’s such an active and energetic baby!  He has brought so much joy to so many people’s lives— evident by the huge birthday party he had last week! It has been so much fun watching him grow this year!  His chubby cheeks and thighs always put a smile on my face!

This set up (and the picturesque birthday set up) are all courtesy of Quyen’s personal, creative director, Linh.  I was quite surprised that we were able to do this shoot so last minute!  But, thanks to Linh, everything was bought, created, and ready to go!  Seriously, get you a Linh!

Liam has always loved eating– from milk to food!  He has never had cake or icing and we were all betting on him tearing up the cake.

To our surprise, Liam was a little intimidated.  He wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do and we, instead, had to put the icing on him to encourage him to smash it.  Turns out, Liam is not an icing lover!

Quyen, thanks for allowing me to capture this chunkster’s Wild One theme cake smash!  He is just soooooo adorable and so lovable!  He’s totally thinning out but I hope he never loses those cheeks!  It’s been so much fun having you and Liam around with Braydon.  I’m so glad we can do this motherhood thing together! I look forward to watching Liam grow and seeing how his personality develops!  Happy first birthday, Liam!  Auntie Lanh loves you!!!
