Dear Lilo,
As you look over these photos from your Four Seasons Orlando Bridal session, read these words, and start your wedding day, I want you to know:
I still remember the days when you played house with me as a child. You were always the “dad” and I was the “mom”. We would make the teddy bears our “kids.” There would be tea parties, grocery store visits, and adventures with us taking care of the kids. You would play along and do everything that your big sister wanted. There were even times where I MADE you say that you wish you were a girl so that I could have a sister. You would say it just to make me happy.
I remember the days when we had “bearwy,” our 10+ year old bear. Her nose was missing, her neck cut by our older brother who was mad at us once, her ears were barely hanging on, and her white color had turned a dingy grey. That was our toy that we shared and loved for over 10 years. Even when you were 6 years old, you knew how to be loyal, caring, and loving even TO A STUFFED ANIMAL!
We can’t forget the MANY trips when I made you catch the public bus with me to go to the mall. I would bribe you and say that I would buy you clothes or candy. You always agreed to go with me. Not only would it take us hours to get to the mall but it took me hours to shop. You came along anyway. You kept me company. You were my little shadow.
In your high school days, you and Linda (Elle Tee) stole my car while only possessing a permit driver’s license. You wanted to go to Aventura mall but it was way to far and you needed a car. You both promised to keep it a secret until the day I got married. I took too long, and your conscious got to you. You ended up telling me 4 years later.
Today is your wedding day and I could not be MORE happy for you and Linda! I know your love will stand the test of time and I know that you will continue to build on the relationship that you and Linda share.
Linda, you are a LUCKY girl. There is no doubt that Khanh will be the best husband because he has been the best little brother. He’s selfless, loving, and loyal. (His loyalty showed on my wedding day when he stayed SOBER to make sure everything went smoothly!) May today be the start of many joyful days ahead. May this be the best start to a fairytale ending!
Love,
Your favorite sister, Lanh
PS thanks for modeling for me at the Four seasons Orlando for your bridal session!
