Modern Garden Wedding Inspo

Kissimmee Lakefront Park has a wedding pavilion that (I think) is a hidden gem.  Its located in a lush corner surrounded by greenery and provided the perfect backdrop for are garden themed styled shoot.  Just a hop away from Orlando, this venue offers the most beautiful backdrop while also offering beautiful lake views and lots of open space for portraits.  (wow this sounded like such a plug!! LOL but really, this place is gorgeous)

It’s no secret that I LOVE weddings- I love planning them, attending them, and photographing them.  I’ve dreamed of planning a elopement styled photo shoot for the longest time and finally got the courage to put one together in April.  It took a lot of researching, emailing, and planning to make it all happen.  After envisioning a theme,  the task to assemble a team of talented creatives started.  If you’re planning a styled shoot, don’t get discouraged with this part of planning.  It requires some thick skin and patience because you will hear a lot of “no’s” but there will always be some “yes’s”.  Keep pushing through and you WILL find the perfect team.  When all the vendors were finalized, the real planning began.  All the details started to come together.  On the day of the shoot, I had to pleasure of personally working with Monique of Mo-Char Events and Cassandra of Ever After Vintage Weddings.  It was such a fun day making our dreams come to life.  When our gorgeous models, Amanda and Chuck got to the shoot, the excitement got REAL (well at least for me, the photographer)!!  Please enjoy the images from our shoot below!!!

DETAILS: one of my FAVORITE things to photograph because I know how much thought went in picking each detail.  If you’re a detail oriented bride, make sure you choose a photographer that also LOVES shooting them.

Ceremony Space:  Outdoor ceremonies are a DREAM!  I love this space at the park.  It’s perfect for an intimate ceremony.

(And part of me was living vicariously through this ceremony set up since I wanted so badly to have an outdoor garden wedding but couldn’t since it was 100 degrees out!)

Reception Set up:  I love the look of farm tables.  They’re so classic and simple and pair so well with table runners.

Place Cards:  wow your guests with unique and fun ways to present their place cards

Cake, Cake, Cake:  The “crackle” cake style is becoming more popular and rightfully so!! Lucy did an amazing job!

Donut Display:  My FAVORITE part of this shoot because of how UNIQUE the presentation is!

Portraits:  My other favorite thing to shoot.  I love how the park has so many different areas that have perfect lighting for photos.  My favorite environment to shoot in: open space

Behind the scenes:  it was a pleasure working with Cassandra and Monique the day of the shoot.  And, I’m so thankful to have Joey, my husband, helping out too!
