Miguel & Michelle: Orlando In Home Newborn Session

Baby Miguel was born at 31 weeks and weighed only 3 lbs 4 oz.  Fast forward 7 weeks and he has more than doubled his weight to 6 lbs 11 oz!  What a fighter he is!  After 37 days of growing and strengthening in the NICU, he was rewarded with a trip home and his parents could not be more ecstatic.  The love that daddy Miguel has is undeniable.  Every chance he had to kiss baby Miguel, he did.  Cuddles and kisses filled this session!  Dad even stayed up late finalizing the nursery and making sure baby Miguel’s book shelf was perfectly painted and straight.   Momma Michelle was radiating with happiness and I wouldn’t blame her!  Her little fighter was finally home!

When Michelle told me that baby Miguel decided to make an early entrance, my heart sank.  Anytime a baby comes this early, you worry.  But Michelle was so optimistic and positive.  It was so very admirable!  I could not imagine what she went through yet she continued have faith.  I think the positivity that Michelle possessed definitely contributed to Miguel’s success in the NICU.  Daddy Miguel is a radiology resident and says that baby Miguel’s lung x-rays and scans were THE best he’s ever seen.  And he says that he is NOT being biased at all! LOL.

Miguel and Michelle, thank you so much for allowing me to document this season of your life.  Baby Miguel is absolutely adorable.  And you two are soooo sweet and it’s major plus that you’re both Gators!  I look forward to seeing baby Miguel grow and watching your love grow for each other and him! Congratulations!
