During our phone consultation, Katie explained the vision she had for her photoshoot.  Her desire to have a boho maternity photoshoot in Orlando was evident.  She had already fallen in love with the Reclamation Design Co gown from the client closet (what boho dreams are made of!) Katie also told me that since the pandemic, she and her boyfriend, Pedro have not announced their pregnancy and had not really celebrated. This made me sad.  I believe that pregnancy is such a special and precious season and that it deserves to be celebrated.

With the pandemic, so many joys have been taken away from soon-to-be moms and it breaks my heart.  I knew that it was my duty to create something special. I wanted to pamper all these moms and make all their pandemic worries go away, even if it were just for a day.

When Katie came in for her dress fitting, she saw the dress and gasped.

This dress was made for Katie! The gown fit Katie perfectly.  She brought along all the accessories she wanted to wear and when she took out her boots, I smiled from ear to ear. A perfect compliment to the gown, these boots had all the boho vibes.

Katie and Pedro’s session was perfection.   Seeing Katie open up and become more comfortable in front of the camera was priceless.  I always say that the best feeling for a photographer is to see a woman feel her own beauty and become confident in front of the camera.  And let me tell you, the end of the session was FIRE!  “Nothing is more beautiful than the belief that you are beautiful.”

Katie and Pedro, thank you so much for allowing me to capture your boho maternity photoshoot in Orlando.  It was such an honor!  You are so sweet and seriously are dream clients.  I can’t wait to witness you as parents and look forward to meeting Serena!
