Dressed perfectly for their neutral theme family photos, the Van’s showed up during peak Spring bloom.

Riley grabbed the giraffe stuffed animal and giggled– it was the first time she giggled during the session and I LOVED it!  The two tiny dimples near her mouth became evident and her eyes lit up.  The rest of the session required lots of funny faces to try to get her cute little smile to shine again.  There was no denying that Riley is a momma’s girl.  It was obvious that when she was happiest in mommy’s arms!

The flowers and trees were all in full bloom during the Van family’s photo shoot.  The hint of pink and in the tall grass brought out Riley’s pink dress and floral crown, perfectly!  It was the perfect time of the year for photos!  Not to mention, the weather was cool and the breeze was wonderful!

Mindy and Andy, thank you for allowing me to capture your family!  I look forward to watching Riley grow (via Amy’s instagram stories) and seeing her smile more!  Maybe next year’s family photos will require less funny faces to invoke a smile!
