I'm an Orlando maternity and family photographer. I want to capture the important moments in your life. Fleeting moments of growth and change.
Please, grab a cup of tea and enjoy exploring my recent work and personal musings!
My neighbor, Lyzz, contacted me about gifting her boss a family photo session since she knew that Laura’s kids were going to be in town for the holidays. Lyzz and some fellow coworkers wanted to bring some holiday cheer in to the Murphy’s lives!
It was such a pleasure capturing the Murphy family at Crane’s Roost park! David and his girlfriend, Danielle, were visiting for the holidays, so it was perfect timing for some family photos. Plus the weather was just perfect for a holiday themed session in sweaters!
I’m so used to photographing toddlers and their parents that its become second nature to ask “can you hug your dad/mom?” When I asked Ally to hug her parents, she giggled and said that she was “the worst” at hugging and showing affection. She thought that she looked weird! I totally disagree! The hugging ones are actually some of my favorite photos from this session! It’s funny to me how we lose the urge to hug our parents as we get older. As kids, we ran to the safety of our parents arms and somehow we forget this as we get older. (I’m guilty of this as well!) So, if you’re reading this, give your parents a little hug just to remind them how much we love them!
Even though you’re Bulldawgs and Seminoles (Go Gators!), it was still a great pleasure meeting you and your family! I hope that I was able to convince Ally to hug you more often because it TOTALLY doesn’t look weird! David Jr., good luck with the rest of you schooling in Wyoming and may your future in California be great with Danielle!
