It was an honor to capture my best friend’s Alfond Inn maternity session!

It all started with me almost getting her arrested in 2003.  Thoa and I have shared 15 years of friendship and it has been one heck of a journey!  It started outside of Iguana’s nightclub in Miami when I passed her a 21 year old ID to get her in.  The bouncer obviously didn’t fall for it and took Thoa aside to question her and her ID.  The cops got involved and were close to arresting her but decided to let it slide.  Thoa was quick to remind me of the incident when we reconnected in Gainesville, FL.

Since we reconnected in Gainesville, we’ve shared so many memories and milestones.  Thoa has been by my side as a bridesmaid (more of a bridesmaid-zilla), she has been my biggest fan on this photography journey, she has made me laugh uncontrollably so many times, and she’s consoled me and been my rock.  Even with distance and time separating us, we’ve always found ways to stay connected and build upon our friendship! I seriously could not ask for a better friend!

Thoa has been one of my best friends and it makes me so happy to see her happy and to know that she is about to become a mom!  She has found love in Sean and they are about to grow their family!!

Baby Stella will make her appearance in January and we are all excited.

Thoa and Sean, I CANNOT wait to meet Stella.  I am so excited for you two and can’t wait to have Stella model for me!  Thank you for allowing me to capture this chapter of your lives and thanks for always being there when I needed you!  Thoa, you deserve all the happiness and joy that has come your way this year!   I am so glad you have found a life partner and that we will be raising our kids together!
