Danielle is from New Jersey; Elise, Minnesota and as fate would have it, they met and fell in love in Florida.  Both ladies signed up for a Disney work program and happened to be looking for a roommate at the same time.  With just the roommate ad alone, they knew they were compatible.  Starting off as just roommates, they soon realized that they were destined to be lovers.

In early 2018, they began shopping for rings— for fun.  The reality of a wedding soon became real and before they knew it, they were engaged that June.  An entire day at Disney was planned to celebrate their new status as an engaged couple.

I met Danielle and Elise in January as they began the planning process.  We had drinks at Krungthep and I delved in to their love story.  It was an instant connection.  These ladies are so sweet and it is so obvious that they are head over heels for each other.  Their wedding is about 8 months away and I almossttttt cannot wait!

Their engagement session at Bok Tower Gardens was so much fun.

The morning started off very foggy but cleared and opened up to beautiful blue skies.  During the very first pose I had these ladies do, they leaned in to each other and couldn’t help but giggle and smile.  I’d like to think it’s because they are so giddy for each other but part of it was just the nerves from being in front of a professional camera for the first time!  Well, that nervousness lasted for maybe 5 minutes.  These ladies are PROS!  By the end of the session, Elise was directing and choosing the poses herself!  At that point, I told them to “just be yourselves and pose yourself.”  OMG, those poses are probably my favorite of all the photos!

They are seriously going to make my job on their wedding day SO easy!

Danielle and Elise, I am so happy for you two.  You are so sweet and so genuine and I know 100% that you love each other with all your hearts.   Just thinking about how Elise would ask “why are you so cute?” makes me smile!  January can’t come soon enough!  I KNOW the day is going to be perfect because you will have each other and you will be able to call each other wifey!  I can’t wait to capture your special day but in the mean time, enjoy this short season of engagement and enjoy the photos from your Bok Tower engagement!
