Brenda & Box: Lake Louisa Family Session

We pulled up on the dirt road at Lake Louisa Park.  Rowen realized that we were parked and whimpered indicating that she was ready to get out of the car.  When we put her down, she was ready to walk and explore! We signaled for her to walk on the road but her curiosity took her towards the grass where she picked the weeds and examined them.  Every chance she got, she would went right in to the weeds!  When Brenda and Box tried to hold her hand and guide her, she refused.  She wanted to let them know that she is now an independent, walking toddler who didn’t need help staying upright.

It’s been so much fun watching Ro grow this year.  I have had the pleasure of documenting her announcement, baby shower, maternity session, newborn session, and, now, first birthday.  She is soooooo stinking cute and I loveeeee having her in front of my camera!  (It doesn’t hurt that her mom is one of my favorite people in the world either!)  I love seeing her personality develop and am always amazed at how early personalities start to show in kids.

She is now a spunky and sassy baby girl AND she LOVES to dance!  Put on a beat, and you can see her cute little bottom shake!

Ro was born on Valentine’s day so that means she gets the cutest themed birthdays EVER! (just my opinion since Valentine’s day is my favorite “holiday)  This year, dad built a kissing booth for her!! #swoon !!  I have had a kissing booth on my pinterest board for the longest and finally got lucky enough to be able to photograph one!!!  Though Ro wasn’t too keen on smashing her cake (we had to put the icing on her face!), she was still the cutest little ham while she tried to figure out what exactly she was smashing!

Ro, I hope you keep your spunk and curiosity!  Auntie Lanh LOVES you so much!  May every birthday be filled with cute themes and big smiles! I look forward to capturing all your life’s milestones and, some day, teaching you to hike!!!
